ABOUT MARK WARREN LAWYERS

Mark Warren is the principal of Mark Warren Lawyers. He worked for ten years at Stacks Collins Thompson at Hornsby focussing on Local Court criminal, traffic and licence matters and Mental Health Advocacy.

He also has expertise in Wills, enduring powers of attorney and enduring guardianships.

Mark appears regularly in the Guardianship Tribunal representing clients in financial management and guardianship matters.

Mark is a panel lawyer with Legal Aid NSW and is on the criminal law, mental health and domestic violence panels.

Prior to becoming a solicitor Mark had a lengthy career in the media (TV and radio) and has also worked in the not for profit sector (Public Interest Advocacy Centre & Uniting Care) and volunteered at the Aboriginal Legal Service.

He has a strong commitment to social justice, the rights of first nations peoples and the environment.

Advice and representation in Court in all criminal matters, including defended hearings and sentencing proceedings, bail applications and District Court appeals, contested ADVOs and applications under the Mental Health and Cognitive Impairment Forensic Provisions Act 2020.
Member of Legal Aid's summary criminal law and domestic violence panels.

TRAFFIC AND LICENCE MATTERS

Advice and representation in Court in all traffic and licence matters including drink and drug driving, licence appeals and contested penalty notices

MENTAL HEALTH AND ELDER LAW

Advice and representation in the NCAT in the Guardianship Division in financial and guardianship matters. Representation before the Mental Health Review Tribunal in relation to involuntary patient orders and Community Treatment Orders. Member of Legal Aid NSW Mental Health Advocacy Service panel.

WILLS, ENDURING POWERS OF ATTORNEY & ENDURING GUARDIANSHIP

We have extensive experience in drafting wills, enduring powers of attorney and enduring guardianships for single people and married and de facto couples. We can also attend you at home, in hospital or other care facilities if need be.
